Ah, see my childhood was made up of Mighty World of Marvel, The Daredevils, Warrior and.... the Bonanza paperback "Batman from the 30s to the 70s" (which I just recently got in hardback!!!)
It's a pity that Miracleman and Captain Britain and half the stories in Warrior are so complicated in terms of IP. I'd love a hardback!
I once asked Neil Gaiman (hear that sound? That's me dropping a name) if he thought the legalities behind Miracleman would ever be sorted.
He didn't say yes. Or no.
Weren't the Claremont Captain Britain stories not collected recently? Or am I imagining that? I actually have a trade of the Jamie Delano and Alan Davis stories that followed Moore's run and lead into Excalibur - its really good. There actually was supposed to be a Graphitti Designs Hardcover of Moore's Captain Britain run, but Marvel annoyed him again - something to do with not mentioning in the indicia that Moore and Davis were the owners of the property (Marvel not being overly fussed on the vagaries of British copyright law).
Actually just did a search for Captain Britain on Amazon.co.uk - threw up some interesting results. You should have a look.
